Systemetric is completely self-funded, and depends entirely on corporate sponsorship and donations to be able to build our robots and enter the competitions. Costs that have to be covered by fundraising include competition entry, shipping and parts. In 2009 it cost the team $6000 to enter the FIRST Robotics Competition, around £3700 at the time. To be able to continue competiting in these competitions we need your support.
You can donate to the team at team events, both in college and out, or at any time by contacting us. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated.
A significant amount of our funds are covered by corporate sponsors. Due to the difficult financial situation, we need more companies to back us than before. Our sponsors brands are featured on the team website and on the robots themselves, as well as any publicity material we issue and the shirts worn by the team at events. Sponsors will be continually updated about the teams progress. More information about our activities can be found on the 'Presentation' page of this website, which features the presentation we show to corporations. If you would be interested in sponsoring the team, please contact us.
If you believe you could help the team by providing your services, we would be interested in hearing from you. We can't take on everyone, but please contact us with your details and the services you can provide and we will be sure to contact you if we think we need your help.
